Returns Policy

  • Please keep your proof of purchase for exchange purposes.
  • We will gladly exchange your purchase provided that:
  1. It is UNWORN and or UNUSED
  2. It is within 14 days of purchase
  3. ALL PRICE TAGS are still attached to the garment
  4. PROOF OF PURCHASE is provided.
  5. You are liable for the cost of postage to exchange/return
  • If you are not able to make an immediate exchange within 14 days A CREDIT NOTE will be placed under your name to the value you purchased for.
  • Lorna Jane does NOT provide refunds for change-of-mind or buyer’s remorse.
  • VIW’s will be credited for the amount paid and not the value of the garment.
  • Products CANNOT be exchanged at any Lorna Jane branch.
  • All items exchanged will be inspected according to the stores requirements before an exchange is processed.
  • Items returned that are stained, tampered with and damaged due to wear and tear WILL NOT BE EXCHANGED.
  • Items that have been damaged due to negligence and/or non-adherence to care instructions WILL NOT BE EXCHANGED.
  • Items purchased as gifts will only be exchanged provided that:
  1. It is UNWORN and or UNUSED
  2. It is within 14 days of purchase
  3. ALL PRICE TAGS are still attached to the garment
  4. PROOF OF PUCHASE is provided.
  • Lorna Jane South Africa is 100% CPA Compliant, please ask a stylist for a copy.
  • Lorna Jane garments use the latest in fabric technology to create superior activewear pieces. Should any material imperfection appear in your garment within 6 months of purchase Lorna Jane SA will follow the procedures as per the CPA.

Lorna Jane strives to ensure you are satisfied. We want you to love and enjoy your LJ purchase. If something isn’t quite right, let us know.

Lorna Jane is not obliged to repair or exchange without providing proof of purchase. Warranties or exchanges are not available on Free Promotional items.

To ensure you receive your preferred exchange choice please email order@lornajane.co.za with your name, contact details, invoice number and details of the preferred replacement choice (Item name, colour & size). This will ensure your item is kept aside whilst we await the return of your garment to our Warehouse Team at Lorna Jane. If the style you require is ‘out of stock’ an online credit note will be issued. Items bought online may NOT be exchanged, credited or refunded at any Lorna Jane store and need to be returned to the address below (at your cost):

Lorna Jane reserves the right to determine whether a product is faulty and conduct a production and quality check. If deemed faulty by Lorna Jane a replacement item will be shipped where possible, subject to stock availability, or a credit note issued. A response for Faulty Claims will be received within 48 hours of the garments arrival at the Lorna Jane Head Office.

Please note:

  • Lorna Jane will not be held responsible if there is a delay in delivery.
  • Customers will be responsible for the return shipping.
  • For faulty or damaged goods, please include a copy of your postage receipt. If the product is deemed faulty after review we will then credit the cost of postage back to you.
  • You need to send the original or a copy of receipt with your order.
  • In the event that your product is lost in transit, Lorna Jane will not be held liable and therefore recommends that you send all returns via Registered Post.
  • We ask that you allow 7 business days from the day your return your package for your account to be credited.

General Terms

  • Lorna Jane SA’s in store VIW (Very Important Woman) Programme does not apply to any items or promotions online.
  • Orders are processed Monday to Friday (excluding public holidays) but are only posted on Tuesdays and Fridays.
  • Please allow 7 working days for your order to be delivered.
  • Customers purchasing items by ‘DIRECT EFT’ please note that payment should reflect in the bank account of Lorna Jane SA before any orders are posted. If payment does not reflect within 4 working days the order will be cancelled.
  • Discounts and promotions (including any delivery promotions) do NOT apply to orders made telephonically.
  •  Gift cards/vouchers are NOT redeemable online.

Return of Gift with Purchase or Promotional items

Should you qualify for a Free Gift with purchase upon meeting minimum spend requirements however, choose to return your purchased goods for a full refund the Free Gift must be returned also. This must be returned in its original saleable condition, with all tickets attached. If upon receiving your returned package the Free Gift is not enclosed, the retail value of the Free Gift will be deducted from the refundable amount. A Lorna Jane team member will contact you immediately and will await 10 business days before processing your payment. The cost of the Free Gift will be incurred by the purchaser if you wish to return. If you wish to keep your Free Gift with purchase however choose to exchange your purchased items at a later date, an Online credit will be issued so you continue to receive the Free Gift at no cost. There is no warranty or exchange on promotional items.
